Summary: Transformation of the personality into a more sitable vessel for individual and universal spirit is a life long opportunity that faces each human being. We can either work with this process consciously or it works on us through life events and illness. Longing, craving, envy, jealousy have occult origins. An understanding of these can assist in our conscious engagement and in their transformation.

Summary: In this seminar James will explore the heart in relation to the seven Life Processes and its connection to the etheric and astral time streams. This exploration will include reference to the etherised blood as a vessel for holding the relationship between perception and action. Summary: In this seminar a tri-phasic model of human development will be explored in relation to some of the illnesses and challenges which present with each phase.
First phase-The crisis of survival in childhood in relation to the sesnes and the establishment of a resisliant sheath for the developing individuality. Some physiological correlates of this will be considered e.g. Allergies, Asthma, ADHD and constitutional illnesses.
Second phase-the crisis of identity in adolsence and associated conditions such as eating disorders, chronic fatigue syndrome, addictions and risk taking behaviour.
Third phase - the crisis of meaning in mid-life including existential anxiety, depression, psycho-somatic illness and some aspects of cancer. These themes will be placed within the wider context of spiritual emergence and spiritual emergency as these reflect humanities unconscious crossing of the threshold.

Summary: In this seminar we will explore the spiritual and physiological expressions of karma through Steiner's approach to karma and re-incarnation. On his final visit to the United Kindom Steiner visited Tintagel and delivered some unique lectures of particuliar relevance to a deeping understanding of karma and reincarnation and of how, through consious process of karma harmonisation, a new path towards spiritual perception based upon sense observation may be awoken (sometimes referred to as the Saturn path). Many illnesses arise when social conditions do not allow this path to unfold between individuals and in groups, with potentially tragic consequences.
